This wasn't wholly a surprise, but | did expect Than rather than Zane to knock on my gate.
There had been eyes on us for a few days now, and | was already prepared for one of them to make
contact.

"What are they?" He asks as he places them firmly in his hand.
"Divorce papers."
"You can't be serious."
"Oh | am, and if he knows what is good for his pack and people, he will sign them. Make no mistake Zane, any
loose favourable connections | may have kept intact between our packs has completely gone now.
This is my pack, these are my people, and Kaia is my family now...she is my mate and | will protect what is
mine."

delivered." At least Zane will be able to get past Medea without her checking the documents.
